 Since 1896, Guidi has been producing footwear that maintains the traditions and skills of the classic craftsmen.  The importance of the leather is stressed as the tannery supporting the footwear production continues to be run by the company.  In the 21^st century, this craft approach has evolved to balance respect for its artisanal heritage with advanced technology associated with leather production.

The respect for the tannery is so strong that it not only supplies leather for its own production, but also for the production of pieces by the world’s most demanding designers.

With this evolution over the past century plus, Guidi eschews mass production, yet has embraced the influence of modern style on its essential, classic legacy.  It continues to masterfully produce footwear that merges Italian craftsmanship with classically tanned leathers.
